Grower nominations are still open to join Fruit Producers SA Board
Nominations are now open for growers looking to represent their industry sectors on the Board of Fruit Producers SA.
- 3 Elected Director positions are open for a term of two years, concluding at the 2024 AGM
Meetings
- Board meetings are normally held bi-monthly on a Monday, beginning at 9:00 am and lasting approximately two hours.
- There are a minimum of 6 Board meetings held per year.
- Board members are encouraged to attend other meetings as required.
Workload
- Board papers are distributed during the week before each meeting
- It is estimated that the time commitment is approximately 36 hours per year, including reading, meetings and other contributions.
Board members set the association’s goals and operations and help shape state and national decisions that influence the Apple, Pear and Cherry industries in South Australia.
